VUAS goes to North Queensland
VUAS spent last week training staff at the Townsville campus of James Cook University for their RePL.
Great weather, attentive students, and an excellent flying field made for an enjoyable, successful course.
Bushfires, a dozen curious eagles, and some very helpful mower operators, kept everyone on their toes!
Students are given fundamental training in how to handle a drone when things go wrong, fly automated missions, and fly their drone adhering to Australian law.
Prior to sitting their RePL exam, students go through a comprehensive revision session to ensure the best possible results.
